Farm Box Overview

1. What is a Farm Box?

Our Farm Box (often known by the concept of CSA) is the simplest way to get the freshest produce straight from our fields. Think of it as a pre-paid subscription to the farm's annual bounty. By joining, you guarantee yourself a weekly or bi-weekly box filled with a curated selection of seasonal vegetables and herbs.

 

2. Season Durations

We offer three distinct seasons, allowing you to choose what works best for you:

  • Spring Season: Runs for 4 weeks, beginning in mid-May. (4 boxes total)

  • Main Season: Runs from June through September (16 weeks total).

    • Weekly Subscribers: Receive a box every week (16 boxes total).

    • Bi-Weekly Subscribers: Receive a box every other week (8 boxes total).

  • Winter Season:Runs for 12 weeks, bi-weekly,October through December. (6 boxes total)

You can sign up for one season or all seasons, the choice is yours!

Full Season Perk ($35 Off): Join us for all three seasons (Spring, Main, and Fall) and a $35 discount will automatically apply to your order at checkout.

 

3. Box Contents and Variety

Each delivery provides a carefully curated Farm Box filled with a selection of your favorite seasonal items. The contents change based on the harvest cycle:

Seasons Typical Contents

Spring -Focused on greens, spring carrots, radishes, and other early harvests.

Summer - Lots of variety! includes items like salad greens, tomatoes, green beans, onions, cucumbers, zucchini, garlic, sweet corn, broccoli, cauliflower, melons, and more.

Fall/Winter - Features sweet fall carrots, fresh cool season greens, winter squash, onions, and other storage crops, plus fresh hearty greens like spinach and kale and of course some of our sweet spring mix lettuce.

We constantly monitor weather conditions, manage pests, and actively work against plant disease to guarantee that the quality of your produce consistently exceeds your expectations.

FAQ:

  • What if I won’t be able to accept my delivery on a particular week?

    Life happens, and we want to make sure your harvest never goes to waste! While our current platform doesn't feature an automated pause button, you have three easy options if you're traveling or unavailable:

    1. Gift it to a friend, neighbor, or family member: Have them pick up your box at your regular drop site using your name. It’s a wonderful way to introduce someone you care about to fresh, local food.

    2. Switch pickup sites for the week: If a different location or time works better for your schedule that week, just reach out to us at least 48 hours in advance, and we’ll route your box accordingly.

    3. Donate your harvest: If you can't arrange a pickup, let us know 48 hours prior. We will happily donate your fresh produce to a local food pantry on your behalf so nothing goes to waste.

    Please note: Unclaimed boxes that are not gifted, rerouted, or scheduled for donation prior to delivery day cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

    Can I choose what I get in my box?

    No. Our shares will feature a variety of what we have available each week. Due the nature of our distribution, It’s impossible for us to customize each box to each customer. You are able to add extras of things through our add-on shares or we will occasionally send out emails with offers on abundant produce.

  • Can I add on extra items from the weekly availability list?

    Yes, during our summer season when produce is most abundant, we’ll alert members that they may add extra produce to their box.

  • What items will I receive in my box?

    We grow **over 40 different types of vegetables**, so the contents change weekly based on seasonality and availability. We focus on popular staples while occasionally including something new to satisfy curious members. click here to see a more detailed list

  • How do I get my box?

    Pick-up is exclusively drop-site based. When you order your Farm Box, you will select a convenient drop-site location. Your box will be ready for pick-up there every Thursday for the duration of the season.
